The Cookery Coaching
Prepare and savor a delicious meal (whenever possible organic, fresh and local) with Chef Gauthier and Chef Renata.
Our cooking classes allow your teams to build unity while spending a relaxing and enjoyable day in a beautiful setting. It's the perfect way to get to know each other better and create fond memories.
You will learn techniques in French fusion cuisine and/or African fusion cuisine, with opportunities for hands-on participation throughout the course. We use the language of cooking to create a sense of community and finish every class with a convivial dinner together.
Cooking classes can be taught in French or English.
We welcome groups of up to 15 people.
Who we are
Gauthier, born in Brussels, is a Franco-Belgian chef, who trained at the internationally renowned restaurant Comme Chez Soi.
He has over 20 years of experience in preparing delicious French fusion cuisine. In 2016, he completed a training course in sustainable alimentation entrepreneurship with EcoInnov, adding a focus on healthy eating and sustainability to his repertoire.
Renata, born in London and a native of Sierra Leone, discovered a passion for cooking at the age of eight.
As both a performer and a chef, Renata has traveled the world, meeting and learning from several international chefs along the way. In her kitchen, she draws upon her varied cultural experiences, using a unique assortment of world flavors to give birth to incredible, unique dishes.
Renata and Gauthier have been friends for nearly 20 years – they met in a restaurant in Brussels back then.
Your team will spend a relaxing and insightful day at Duling, a 19th century farmhouse set in a beautiful, inviting environment. Duling is surrounded by a peaceful 0,8 ha of garden, featuring fruit trees, flowers and a bee house.
The farmhouse is 25 min from Brussels’ city centre, in the Brabant Flamand, and faces the Bois de Halle.
